Online user implies antisemitic conspiracy because a Ukrainian leader met with a Rabbi

Valerii Zaluzhniy is the Commander of the Ukrainian armed forces. He recently met with a Rabbi. In response, an online user implied a conspiracy. The user avoids overtly antisemitic language, which helps avoid violating moderation policies (image at the bottom of text). The replies contain antisemitic comments and imagery.

This specific user has been featured in Russian-state media and RuTube, the Russian version of YouTube. A pro-Russian Serbian tabloid has also cited this user. The outlet Geopolitica (Geopolitika) also mentions this user. The report from the US State Department on “Russian Pillars of Disinformation” mentions Geopolitica, saying it “serves as a platform for Russian ultra-nationalists to spread disinformation and propaganda targeting Western…audiences.”

The report also states that the website "has connections with other sites and groups that also serve as proliferators of Russian disinformation and propaganda, especially Katehon."
